"I just wanted to say that my new bike is brilliant. It has totally changed my fitness potential in that I can finally exercise properly again. It's a joy to ride and I feel much better already.
Thank you all so much for persevering with me and my very specific needs!"

Rob has always had a passion for all things two wheeled. He claims this was the result of a seventies childhood when there was little else to do! LifecycleUK is the result of a fortuitous ride past an empty village co-op and the desire to have a job that he enjoyed. Rob has ridden most disciplines of bikes over the years including BMX, Road, Time Trialing and MTB. His favourite aspect of the job continues to be the selection and assembly of components to produce aesthetically beautiful custom built bikes. Every year is a potential comeback season, who knows, maybe next year will be the one!!! Rob has too many bikes to mention due to his status as an executive hoarder, but include a Cyfac Absolu, Santa Cruz Tallboy, Scapin Style and a dazzling array of unfinished (or incomplete) projects.
Mat has been with LCUK since 2005 following a year out working in bike shops across Australia. In the years since, he has trained to the highest level possible within the cycle industry and takes great pride in the attention to detail that is so often overlooked. Mat's passion is in wheel building and to date has built many hundreds of wheels for casual riders and racers alike. He enjoys riding in all of its forms from a 2 hour mountain bike blast around Thetford forest to a 100 mile sportive in the peak district. Time Trialling still remains an important part of his competitive calendar along with mountain bike enduros and the odd hill climb event. His current fleet includes a Colnago CLX road bike, Felt DA time trial machine, a Turner 5-spot trail bike and a Cube AMS cross country/race bike.
Richard joined the team in 2013, having previously had 6 years bike shop experience working at the Edinburgh Bike Co-op and Rutland Cycling. Originally from a mountain bike background, he now rides all disciplines and in 2000 undertook a trans-european solo bike tour, riding 4500 miles from Nordkapp to Malta. Current steeds are a Felt AR3, Kinesis T2, Cube Stereo 140 and a Unicycle (somewhere in the back of the shed, not sure if he can still ride it!). Although now mostly seen sporting lycra and on skinny tyres, Richard's true passion is fat tyres, baggy shorts and getting sideways when not expecting it!
Lewis joined the team in 2015 having come from an engineering background. Prior to working at LifecycleUK he was a toolmaker for a local firm but his passion for all things bike prompted a swift career change. Having ridden bikes for as long as he could walk, Lewis can often be found out on club rides or tearing up sportives such as the Ride London and Welsh Dragon. He has also been known to enter in the odd TT now and again! Lewis's arsenal of bikes includes an Eddy Merckx EMX-1, Felt Nine 4, Kinesis T2 and a WeeHoo iGo tag along for his son!
